A San Francisco, CA based investment management professional, Soji Fanoiki has more than 23 years of experience in asset management, investment counseling, business development, and sales and marketing. In 2018, Soji Fanoiki founded Boinu Capital, a multi-manager private equity fund that focuses on private equity and venture capital partnerships in Africa and other emerging markets.
Before founding Boinu Capital, Mr. Fanoiki spent 22 years with Fisher Investments, first as a senior account executive and then as a senior investment counselor. In the latter position, he managed over $300 million in assets for approximately 180 family offices, private clients, endowments and foundations. As an investment counselor, Mr. Fanoiki frequently communicated with clients and the firm’s Investment Policy Committee on market conditions and portfolio strategy.
A member of the Africa Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and the National Association of Securities Professionals, Mr. Fanoiki holds a bachelor of arts in applied economics from the University of San Francisco. When he is not working, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
